COMPANY HISTORY

On March 7, 2013 IMPACT Properties, Inc was founded by Aaron Zapata. Originally named Zapata Realty, the first office was located in Yorba Linda at the Lakeview Professional Center. Mr. Zapata has previously worked with Prudential California Realty but was inspired to open his own firm where he could hire and train the best agents in the industry. He was joined by one other agent, Larry Carton. From 2013 – 2015 the company saw steady growth and grew from 2 to 7 agents and saw sales triple.

The company name was changed at the tail end of 2015 to IMPACT Properties, Inc. to align the name with the company mission statement to make a positive impact in the world. In 2016 the company continued to grow and opened a second location in La Mirada and hired a corporate trainer, Don Jacks, for the rapidly growing team. His experience and energy infused the organization even more and helped spur more growth.

In January 2017 IMPACT Properties took over the management of Santa Fe Springs #1 Company, Pondoff Realty as the beloved owner, Nick Pondoff retired. Pondoff was started in 1955 and has been a placeholder in the community for over 60 years. In February 2017 the main office was relocated from Yorba Linda to Placentia to move into a great office space better suited for their growth and their expanding team of professionals. Currently, IMPACT Properties has over 30 agents and services all of Southern California.

In late December 2018, IMPACT Properties opened a Franklin, Tennessee office. This office looks forward to growing and making a name for IMPACT Properties in Tennessee.
